Inflammatory eye diseases such as uveitis can affect people of any age and, without proper treatment, can cause permanent damage. The approach is comprehensive and often requires coordination with rheumatology or internal medicine.

What is it?

Clinical and imaging diagnosis to identify the cause of inflammation, followed by specific treatment with drops, systemic therapies or, in selected cases, surgery.

Who is it for?

People with a prior diagnosis or suspicion of inflammatory eye diseases, or who have been referred for evaluation by their treating physician. Each case is reviewed individually before proposing a procedure.

How is it performed?

A complete eye evaluation, imaging studies and, when applicable, lab tests are performed. The treatment plan is personalized to control inflammation and protect ocular structures.

Recovery

Control depends on the type and severity of inflammation. Frequent follow-ups are scheduled to adjust treatment and prevent sequelae.
